M. Gardner – President
Charles M. Gardner is President of Coastside Community First. A resident of Montara since 1997, Mr. Gardner has served in various local organizations such as Mid-Coast Community Council, and is currently a Trustee of the Cabrillo Unified School District. Mr. Gardner is a civil engineering construction Project Manager with Kiewit Pacific Co. in Concord, California.
Mary Bordi - Director
Mary A. Bordi lives close to the land, on a ranch in the Alpine Road area of La Honda. A fourth generation coastsider, she is well aware of the changes to this region over the last half century. Currently Ms Bordi works at a local public access seedbank. Visit her blog at http://www.hununu.org.
Terry Gossett - Director
Terry Gossett is President, and a founding director of Californians for Property Rights, an educational public benefit corporation. Terry has been a director of a number of technical, financial and community organizations. He currently consults for the aerospace industry in program management and simulation of manned and unmanned aircraft systems. Terry and his wife, Bee, have lived in Moss Beach since 1998.
Nate Serdy - Treasurer
Nate was born and raised on the Coastside. He chose to join CCF because he cares about the future of the Coastside and feels that CCF promotes dialogue and discussion amongst our community for its betterment. He looks forward to raising a family and becoming more involved in different community projects and organizations on the coast. Nate is Realtor ®, member of the San Mateo County, California and National Association of Realtors, Graduate of UC Santa Cruz, and a volunteer for the Coastside Opportunity Center.
Jim Howie - Director
Jim Howie is a newcomer to the coast and resides in Half Moon Bay. Jim has been in the real estate business for thirty-nine years and specializes in commercial real estate. Since moving to the coast Jim and his wife Kay have been very active in the community as well as church and local charities.
Silvia Prewett - Director
Dale Dunham - Director
Dale Dunham and his wife Judy are seventeen year residents of HMB. He is a retired US Air Force Lt. Colonel and pilot. Dale spent fifteen years as manager of the SFIA Emergency Planning Department before retiring two years ago. He has an MA in Public Administration and is an IAEM Certified Emergency Manager.
Steve Wilson - Director
W. Stephen Wilson is a founding director of Coastside Family Medical Center and served as its community volunteer CFO for its first three years of existence. He has co-founded organizations such as San Francisco's highly regarded Homeless Children's Network and is presently a director of Children's Hope Chest, serving Russian orphans. Steve is a partner in San Francisco's Tobin & Tobin, California's oldest law firm, with a practice focused upon real estate and corporate law. Steve and his wife Joan live in Half Moon Bay, where they are active in both community and church.Matthew Jakubiak - Director
Matthew Jakubiak moved to the coast because of his passion for the coastal atmosphere and the close-knit community that it currently provides. He is a software professional specializing in Business Intelligence and web applications. Matthew looks forward to starting a family in El Granada, and has spent much of his time on the coast since 2000.
